We Should Never Celebrate Christmas. Christmas Is a Day Of Worship, Not a Celebration

"I do not believe that Jesus would care what day you worshiped His birthday on (if it's the 25th, 26th, or whether it's April, May, June, July, or whenever it might be), just so you worship--you worship Him on any day. But here's what it is. They have taken the sacredness from Christmas to make it not a Christmas, but a celebration. See? We do not... You hear people say, "We're going to celebrate Christmas." That's wrong. We should never celebrate Christmas. Christmas is a day of worship, not a celebration" WMB ~Sirs we would see Jesus 61-1224 .

"I know that we people here do not teach our children of such a myth as Santa Claus. We do not believe in telling anybody a lie, so you're not going to lie to your children. Such stuff as that, that's mythology to its heights, of such a thing as taking the place of Christ at Christmas. And Christmas has lost... Christmas is no more a worship; it's a celebration: drinking, gambling, carousing, just pagan to the limit". WMB ~ Christianity verses idolatry 61-1217

"I just wish it could be Christmas all the time. Everybody seems to be so friendly around Christmas time, wanting to help one another, and everything. And everybody down on the street say, "How are you, brother?" Other times of the year won't even speak to you. So I... It'd be good if it stayed Christmas, wouldn't it? Just Christmas all the time" WMB ~ Divine healing 54-1219M"

THINGS CONSIDERED IMPOSSIBLE

By Ophara Ohiyana in Malawi.

There are certain things that God does and the human mind just can’t comprehend. Even the person to whom the incident happens has problems accepting it as a reality. When Brother Stanley and I, for example, were coming from Ntcheu and a tyre went flat after hitting a pothole and when we stopped to change the tyre we found out that no tyre was flat it was too miraculous for us to accept it. We checked all around but nothing was wrong with the car. We then drove all the way to Blantyre. We never mentioned it to anybody thinking they wouldn’t believe it.

However, when somebody gathers the courage to testify of God’s wonders whether people believe it or not, the rest gather up courage too to testify of God’s goodness and His incredible ways of doing things.

As Pastor Dixon Kandoje and Brother Overton Makuta were driving in separate cars back to Blantyre after the Mbavi Meetings one of the pastor’s car’s tyres went flat around Ntcheu. It was quite dark and Brother Makuta also stopped his car to help his pastor. As he was busy with the tyre his driving licence slipped from his chest pocket on to the ground unnoticed. The following day, back in Blantyre, Brother Makuta wanted to drive to town. He searched for his licence and it was nowhere to be seen. He searched all the likely places but without success. He then remembered about the Ntcheu incident and feared he might have dropped it there. His fears were confirmed when his wife told him she had seen something falling from his pocket at Ntcheu.

He looked at his wife with his hands akimbo. Then how do I get it, he muttered to himself. He thought about queuing at the Road Traffic Commission’s offices for another licence and didn’t get amused with that thought. Then suddenly he spoke out  “That licence will be delivered to me!”

“But how?” querried his wife.

“I don’t know,” he answered

His wife had all the reason to get worried for her ATM card was in the same pouch as the driving licence.

Without a licence Brother Makuta started off for town. Drama started unfolding barely a few minutes later. His wife couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Brother Makuta sees visions but we have never heard of his wife seeing visions too. But all that was different on this day. She heard some sound and when she lifted her eyes to see, lo and behold, something that looked like a piece of paper was falling from nowhere onto the floor right before her eyes. She looked at it and for sure it was her husband’s driving licence. She got too frightened to pick it up. For some minutes she stood there motionless before picking it up and verifying it was indeed the licence that had supposedly been lost somewhere in Ntcheu, about 150km away.

Hearing such a heart-moving testimony at Masuku in Mangochi Brother Mkango of Lilongwe couldn’t help but give his own. He initially thought what had happened to him would be too hard for people to accept but he pushed those thoughts away for something even greater and more miraculous had just been testified about.
Lighter Moments: Pastor Mwale and Brothers Joshua Valeta, Overton Makuta, Eliezer Kamwangala, Mkango and Liveson Tumbulu at Mbavi, Lilongwe

Pastor Wilton Mkandawire of Lilongwe church called Brother Mkango asking him to remember him in prayers for the trip he was about to make the following day. Instead Brother Mkango , in addition to the prayer, offered to go with him on this trip. He had a shop on the way to their destination so he wanted to take this opportunity to visit it. On the day of the visit Brother Mkango left his home via the city centre where he bought some items for the shop he was about to visit that morning. He planned to meet the pastor at his shop which was about 35km from his Area 23 residence. When he arrived at his shop he wanted to check what time it was only to discover that he had left his wrist watch at home. He was fond of his wrist watch and the feeling that he had left it home bothered him so much that he spoke out “Lord I need my wrist watch” without knowing it. After a while he forgot about the whole issue. However, as someone who was used to checking time now and again he unconsciously checked his wrist and was shocked to find his watch there.

Wow, what a mighty God we serve! All Things Are Possible. Only Believe.

God specializes in things thought impossible!

MAKING NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS: IS IT RIGHT?

"Some people say, "Well, you should live a better life, turn a new page, this is New Years." Oh, how many resolutions did you make, and all of you broke them? It'll never work. It's a dying out and a rebirth, a regeneration, a new--new creature in Christ Jesus. That's what the world needs today" WMB -Reconciliation through fellowship 56-0120.

"Most time, people that does wrong, on New Year they'll say, "Well, we're going to turn a new page now. We're going to be right after tonight." And what do they do? They just turn a new page so they can turn it back the next day. All their New Year vows goes away. That won't work" WMB.~
From that time 61-0520

"I've been a member of the church. This New Year's I'm going to turn a new page and start new. That don't mean that. Not turn a new page, but actually die and be born again". WMB -You must be born again  61-1231M

"Not turn a new page. It's turn to the Word, see what the Word promises for today, see what the Light of the day's supposed to be. What we ought to do this year is not go back to creed and things, go back to our old denominations, not go back to old denominations; but turn to the Word, see what kind of a Light's supposed to shine today. .............A lot of people say, "Well, the old year's gone, throw away the old December calendar now and put up the other one, a new year." That, that's what new years means to them.To me, I want to see what's promised for the day. I want to know what the Light of the hour is, so I can know how to walk in it. I want to know where I'm living, what age I'm in, how far up the road am I?" WMB ~ Shalom  64-0112

"Then New Year's comes along. You all go out and write up a resolution. "Tonight, wife, I'll give you the promise. I'll turn a new page, and I--I'll never drink no more."And the woman smoked so many cigarettes, till she can't nurse her baby no more, give it nicotine poison, kill it; and she's going to stop smoking on New Year's. The drunk's going to quit drinking on New Year's; the immoral person's going to stop their immorality on New Year's, so forth like that. What do you do? Just turn a new page and turn it back the next day again. See? You don't get started right" WMB ~ From that time 60-0716.

"I can remember laying here on the hospital bed. The doctors give me three minutes to live, my heart beating seventeen times to the minute. I met God. Since then I haven't been the same. Something happened to me. No one could tell me any different. Bill Branham died; I met God, and Something come into me. I've never been the same since that minute I met Him. He changed me. He made me something different. It wasn't taking a New Years' vow, but I met God. Men and women, when you meet God, you're changed. We make our New Year vows tonight, go back tomorrow morning to break them, next day to break them. But what we need to do is not a New Year vow, but we need to come face to face with God and have Eternal Life, be borned of His Spirit....................................
It ain't meet a New Year. We're going to face it in a few minutes, after while. In about two and a half hours, I suppose, maybe less than that, we will be meeting a new year face to face. We will meet it with vows; we will meet it with pledges; we will meet it with good intentions. We will meet it saying that we will try to turn a new page; we will try to do different. That's all good. I appreciate that. Brother, it'll never be eternal until you meet God first. When you meet God first, and from then on, everything will be different". FROM.THAT.TIME_  JEFF.IN  THURSDAY_  59-1231

"Now, of course, tonight is a night where we hear from a variety of ministers, different ones who come in. And they'll probably be coming on along through the different parts tonight up till midnight. I think they'll set and watch if the--for the new year to go--come in, and the old one to go out. And usually they call around the altar and pray and--and make their vows to God and renew their--their vows". REVELATION.CHAP.FOUR.PT.1_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 551-584  SATURDAY_  60-1231

"And we don't believe in turning new pages; we just believe in burning the old. So just keep yourself consecrated to God through the coming year; we don't know what the Lord will do for us". WMB ~
