Yesterday standing.... I hope the little fellow don’t.... He won’t. I’d come with my wife, and Mrs. Woods, Brother Roy Roberson somewhere here, Brother Woods, we’d stopped on over here at this little Youngstown Shopping Center to get a package that Sister Woods had. And while we was standing there, a young fellow walked up and introduced himself, a stranger to me. Another young man walked up and said they were from either Alabama . . . I believe Georgia,
‘cause I asked them if they knowed our Brother Welch Evans. And we talked a few minutes. And when I went to leave, this young man looked at me. As the young other fellow and his little boy walked away, this young man looked at me; he  said, “Just one thing I want to say.”
 I said, “Are you a believer, are you a Christian?”
 Said, “No, sir!” He said....

42 I might not quote just the word he said here, but he might’ve been a little skeptic. I’d asked him about the things---the
Angel of the Lord appearing. And he said he had heard about it, but he never been to church before . . . this church. I said, “Do you believe it?”
 Said, “Yes, sir! He said, “I’ve been watching something.” Said, “People’s been telling me about these predictions and things, and I heard on a tape that you predicted how California would crack away like that.” And said, “When I saw that in the paper, then I believed it.” He said, “I’m coming today or tomorrow (that’s today) for my first time.”
 I said, “The Lord bless you, Son,” and started to shake his hand.
 He said, “But I want to say something to you, Sir.” He said, “I’m as lost as lost can be.” He said, “I’m like a coin in a  sandpile: lost!”
43 I said, “But you don’t have to stay that way; there’s Someone standing present now who can find you the minute that you’re ready to be found.”
 He said, “I’m ready!”
 I said, “Would you bow your head?”
 He said, “I’m not ashamed.” Not only that, but he got down on his knees there in that parking lot before all the people. People on the street watching him, there we prayed with him till he gave God his heart. He come up a sinner, went back a child of God. He walked up the side of the car dead and went back alive.
44 I said, “The pool will be open tomorrow.”
  There is a fountain filled with blood,
  Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
  Where sinners plunge beneath the flood,
  Lose all their guilty stains;
 I said, “Rise and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, calling upon the name of the Lord. God will fill you with the Holy Spirit, and give to you these great things, and make you so you can see it.”

Like a fellow said to me one time, said, “Now, if you believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is right and you believe you’ve got it,” said, “now, you strike me blind.” That was a preacher said, “You strike me blind.” 
He said, “Paul struck a man blind one day.
140 I said, “Mister, how can I strike you blind when you’re already blind? How could I kill you when you’re already dead.”
He said, “Me, my eyes is twenty-twenty.”
I said, “Your physical part, but you’re still blind.”
“It’s impossible! The Bible don’t interpret things. We speak where the Bible speaks and silent where it’s silent.”

"We find out that God was so merciful to Moses out there in that dead sea--out in the Red Sea out there, rather. Then when He said here, in Exodus 19:4, He said, "I carried you away on eagles' wings, brought you to Myself. Carried them on eagles' wings, and brought you to Myself." There was other men in the middle of that sea out there also, trying to impersonate. But what? "He carried them on eagles' wings."Now, God always likens His prophets to eagles. And what was it? Moses was His messenger. And they were following Moses, and that was the eagles' wings that they were carried on, because he was packing God's message. And the people followed that. They were following God as they followed Moses with His message of deliverance. And the Bible said that, "He--they perished not with them who believed not." Take me into Your arms, dear God. I'm Your child. I feel that I'm thateagle they were talking about. Catch me, Lord; I'm jumping. I raised up from my seat and knelt down here. Catch me, Lord. I'm jumping. Bring me on Your wings, Lord, away from these things of the world. Let me fly away from the filth of this world, from my bad habits, from all of my denominational traditions. Let me come only to You, dear God, that Your Holy Spirit might pour into me the forgiveness of all of my doubts. May I tonight become Your child, fresh, born, and a new creature, tonight. Catch me, carry me away beyond the clucking of the hen. Carry me away to the eagle's nest, where there that I could be nurtured by the Word of God until I'm able to fly."Grant it, dear God.
