HAVE A BLESSED DAY

The SUN WILL RISE AGAIN

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, What should I do?"

He said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse.

"What should I do." The young lady asked?
"Keep driving," her father replied.

On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!"


Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep driving!"

Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out.

Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."

She said "But why now?"

He said "When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.

This is a testimony for anyone who is going through "hard times".

Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You don't have to...if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

"I can do all things through Christ, who strengtheneth me!"

GIVE THEM HONEY

The preacher placed two identical jars on the table next to the pulpit.
He quoted 1 Samuel 16:7 'The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
"These jars came from the same factory, were made of the same materials, and can hold the same amount. But they are different," he explained. Then he upset one and it oozed out honey. He turned over the other, and vinegar spilled out.
"When a jar is upset, whatever is in it comes out. Until the jars were upset, they looked alike. The difference was within, and could not be seen. When they were upset, their contents were revealed. Until we are upset we put on a good front. But when we are upset, we reveal our innermost thoughts and attitudes, for 'out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.'" (Luke 6:45)
What if someone tipped you over today??
What would flow out??
Would you reveal the "honey" of grace and patience, or the "vinegar" of anger and sarcasm?
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." ( Peter 4:8)
Have a terrific day knowing that the one who upsets you may be just looking for some honey - Don't give them vinegar!

NINGEKUWA SHETANI KWA WAAFRIKA

1. Ningewapumbaza sana waone rangi yao nyeusi ni mbaya, hii ingewafanya wajiradharau na kumheshimu yeyote mwenye rangi isiyo nyeusi. Ningewafanya waheshimu kila mzungu hata kama hana tabia nzuri. Ningepumbaza akili za viongozi wao wawapende na kuwakaribisha wazungu mpaka maofisini mwao bila kuwasumbua.

2. Ningewafanya waongo na waliojaa majungu, ningewachochea kwenye akili zao wapende kuzungumzia maisha ya watu na kusahau habari za maendeleo. Ningewafanya wakubwa kwa wadogo kutumia muda wao mwingi kuzungumzia mahusiaono ya watu na hasa yale yahusuyo ngono. Ningewafanya wanaume wawe wajinga na wajisifu kwa ngono. Na wanawake ningewafanya wavae nusu uchi ama nguo za kubana nabado wajione wana akili timamu na wakisasa zaidi. Ningewafanya wanawake waliosoma watetee uvaaji huu kwa udi na uvumba kwa visingizio vya haki za binadamu. Ningewafanya wamwone mtu asiye shabikia masuala ya ngono mshamba na asiye kwenda na wakati. Ili kupata wafuasi wengi, ningelifanya swala la ngono lizungumzike hata mbele ya watoto wadogo na karibu kila mtu atabasamu kama hakusema lolote. Vilevile kutimiza lengo la kupata wafuasi wengi ningewafanya wanandoa kuona si tatizo sana kutoka nje ya ndoa. Ningewafanya vijana waone ni kawaida sana kuwa na mahusiano ya ngono kabla ya ndoa, na hata wasijiite malaya bali wajanja.

3. Ningewafanya wajinga kiasi cha kujidanganya wenyewe, kukazia maarifa ningewafanya viongozi wao watetee ujinga ili mradi ujinga ule umesemwa ama kufanywa na mtu wa kambi moja ama rafiki.

4. Ningewaficha akili ya kuwaza kujitegemea, ningewafanya wafikiri kusaidiwa na mataifa mengine, katika hili ningeanza na mtu mmoja mmoja, familia, taasisi mpaka Taifa husika.

5. Ningewafanya waliosoma na wenye fedha wajione ni wamaana sana kuliko wasiosoma na maskini. Hili lingewaondolea umoja, lakini pia lingeongeza chuki kati yao.

6. Ningewafanya waoneane wivu wa kijinga, ningewafanya wasipende wenzao wawafikie katika elimu ama utajiri walioufikia. Hili lingewarudisha nyuma sana kimaendeleo.

7. Ningewafanya wanafiki sana, ningeifanya akili yao iwaze kuwaheshimu watu wenye vyeo ama matajiri. Ningewafanya wajinga kiasi cha kutokumsalimu maskini ama mtu wa cheo cha chini. Ningewafanya juha hata kuwakana wazazi wao waliovijijini sababu ya kuchoka kwao.

8. Ningewafanya wajinga kiasi cha kuvaa vitu vya thamani ili wenzao wawaone wana uwezo kifedha hata kama siyo kweli.

9. Ningewafanya wengi waende makanisani na misikitini kama fashion tu lakini wafanye mambo ya ajabu kwenye maisha yao ya kawaida.

10. Ningewafanya wajinga kiasi cha kudharau kila kitu cha kwao, ningewafanya wasizipende lugha za kwao, na utamaduni wao. Ningeifanya kila familia iwe na TV yake ili waweze kuiga vizuri mambo ya wazungu. Ningewafanya watoto na vijana wapende sana tamthiliya za kizungu ili kufuta kabisa uafrika kwenye bongo zao.

ITS NOT IN THE PACKAGE

A married lady was expecting a birthday gift from her husband. For many months she had admired a beautiful diamond ring in a showroom, and knowing
her husband could afford it, she told him that was all she wanted. As her birthday approached, this lady awaited signs that her husband had purchased the diamond ring.


Finally, on the morning of her birthday, her husband called her into his
study room. Her husband told her how proud he was to have such a good wife,
and told her how much he loved her. He handed her a beautiful wrapped gift
box. Curious, the wife opened the box and found a lovely,

leather-bound Bible, with the wife's name embossed in gold. Angrily, she
raised her voice to her husband and said, "With all your money you give me a
Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving her husband. Many years passed
and the married lady was very successful in business. She managed to settle for a more beautiful house and a wonderful family, but realized her ex-husband was very old, and thought perhaps she should go to visit him. She had not seen him for many years. But before she could make arrangements, she received a telegram telling her that her ex-husband had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to her. She needed to come back immediately and take care of things.


When she arrived at her ex-husband's house, sudden sadness and regret filled
her heart. She began to search through her ex-husband's important papers and
saw the still new Bible, just as she had left it years ago.


With tears, she opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. Her ex-husband
had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, " And if you, being evil know
how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly
Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?" As she read those
words, a tiny package dropped from the back of the Bible.. It had a diamond
ring with her name engraved on it, the same diamond ring which she saw at
the showroom. On the tag was the date of her birth, and the words...'LUV U
ALWAYS'...



How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as
we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Do not spoil what you have by
desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once
among the things you only hoped for...

SATAN'S STRATEGIC MEETING

SATAN'S MEETING

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.
In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their saviour."

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

"Give them headaches too! "

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!"

"It will work!"

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
