Sitasumbuka kwani Mungu Ananitunza Daima [I wont suffer for God Careth For Me Forever]
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
I would like to begin with the 14th chapter of St. John. And let us begin at the... Let us begin at the 12th verse. And my subject tonight is: "The Comforter." And now, as we read, listen close to the reading: St. John 14, beginning with 12.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
And whatsoever ye... ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son,
If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
If You love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever,
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but you know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I would like, if you would excuse it, for me to read this 17th verse again.
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,...
"The world..." As long as you love the world, you'll never receive It. See?
... because it seeth him not,...
No matter what He does, the world don't see it. They don't believe it. It's emotion, psychology (See?) to them.
... seeth him not, neither knoweth him:...
Now, listen, this "Him" He's talking about:
... but ye know Him; for he dwelleth with you... (Now, Jesus.),... and shall be in you. Isn't that plain? Who is this Comforter then? Jesus. See? He said, "I'll pray the Father; He'll send you another Comforter, even the Spirit of Truth; Whom the world cannot receive, because it knoweth Him not, neither seeth Him; or, seeth Him, neither knoweth Him. But you know Him." See, He's talking about Himself. "You know Him, for He dwelleth with you in a body of flesh now," talking to the disciples, "and shall be in you; and will abide for ever," never leave.Oh, isn't He a good God? Jesus is so good to us. And it's well expressed, that, "Our God is a good God." He's so good to His children. He has provided every good thing for us. Everything that we have need of He's provided it. Truly you could say, "Our Father, Who art in heaven," because He is a Father. And though we be disobedient, though we be arrogant, He still provides for us just the same. Whether we are good or whether we are bad, He gives us food to eat, clothes to wear, house to dwell in. Oh, He is so good.~~~The Comforter 61-1001E
He cared for Elijah when he, and he alone, cared for God. Hallelujah. That's where it comes to. "Cast your cares upon Him, for He careth for you." Peter, speaking to the elect elders, the elders and them in the church, he said, "Put your cares on Him, because He cares for you. Put everything there, because you're clean before God. You're--you're walking as servants of God."God cared for Elijah because Elijah cared for God. All the other preachers had lost the vision of that day, had lost the will of God and the love of His Word, and it all went modern. But no matter how modern Jezebel had them, the first lady of the land, no matter how much them other preachers let them women act and do; Elijah called out against it in the Name of the Lord. He cared for what God said, and God cared for what Elijah said then, 'cause he said the Word of the Lord. God cares when you care, but you got to care first. Yeah. ~~~He cares do you care? [63-0721]
After Moses led them out, he come to the Red Sea. Right in the path of duty, there the Red Sea cut them off. Moses needed a bridge. God provided a wind. Amen. So Moses didn't--wouldn't have used the bridge. He took God's provided way, and he walked forward towards the sea. And it opened up, and Moses and Israel went over on dry land, because they followed God's provided way. Through the wilderness they come, the journey, heartaches and sorrows as they passed through. Moses got old, one hundred and twenty years old, and one day he was going to die. So he climbed up to the top of Mount Pisgah. And while he was up there viewing the promised land, death struck him, that faithful prophet of God, when there'd never been one lived like him. But death struck him. And when death struck him, he needed a place that he could die. God provided a rock, that same rock that had followed him through the wilderness. He climbed up on the rock and died. Then he needed pallbearers to bury him, and God provided Angels. And they come and packed him away somewhere in the earth.
What was it? God. If we'll walk in God's provided way, God will provide everything we have need of. God provides. No matter what the circumstances is, He provides.~~~God has a provided way [62-0728]
Little Isaac with the wood laying on his back, and he said now... I love these words of Abraham. He said, to the servants, "You abide here," maybe not in that tone of voice, that word. "You wait here while the lad and I goes yonder to worship. And the lad and I will return." Amen. How is he going to return? If he's going up to kill him, how's he going to return? There you are. That's the trust in God. Oh, he didn't know how it would be. That's the reason he could call it Jehovah-jireh, the Lord will provide.
So he said... He started up the hill, Isaac packing the wood, just the same as Christ packing the cross going up the hill, the sacrifice place. And when he got way up the winding mountain to the top, way up in the rugged rocky country, up in there where he was at, then he laid up some rocks and made an altar. And he laid the wood down here. And he set the fire. Then he said, little Isaac said to him; he said, "Father?"He said, "Here am I, my son."
He said, "Here is the wood, and here is the altar, but where is the lamb for the burnt sacrifice?"
Abraham, looked down at him; he said, "My son, God will provide for Himself a lamb for the sacrifice...?... knowing what was in that father's heart. It was that crucial moment, ready for a decision.
Are you at that spot tonight, sinner friend? that crucial moment where there must be a decision made in a few minutes?
He said, "God will provide for Himself a sacrifice." And they got everything ready. Then Abraham took his only son, and took his hands and bound them, and laid it behind, laid him up on the altar, pulled the knife out of the sheath, and maybe, he was choking back the tears. But he had to make the decision. Would he obey God, yes, or no? What are you going to do about it?
Pulled the knife back, reached over and stroked the curly hair of his boy, laid it back, raised his little head back, and raised the knife to plunge it into his own son's throat, not sparing his own son because God ask him to do it.
And when he did, the Holy Spirit caught his hand, said, "Abraham, stay your hand. Stay your hand, Abraham. I know now that you love Me." And just about that time, a little ram bleated behind him (That's a male sheep.), caught in the wilderness by its horns.
I want to ask you something. Where did that ram come from? Now, he was a hundred miles from civilization. He was up on top of a mountain where there's no food, nor neither water. Where did that ram come from? You know who it was? It was Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. God created the ram, 'cause there was the need for one. It wasn't a vision. No, he never saw a vision. He laid the ram up, and cut it, and blood run out of its throat, and it was a sacrifice. It wasn't a vision. It was actually a ram. It was a ram that died there. What happened? God seen need for a ram, and He spoke the ram into existence in one minute. And five minutes later, it went out of existence. Why? Abraham said, "We'll call the name of the place Jehovah-jireh, the Lord will provide Himself a sacrifice."
No matter what your need is now, God has already provided a ram for your sacrifice. God has already provided a way for your Eternal Life. God has provided a Lamb for your resurrection. God has provided a ram to take those gray hairs and wrinkled face and return them back to a new man and woman again. God has provided a way to straighten that crooked hand. God has provided a way to take death of cancer away from you, put life in there. God's Sacrifice has already been provided.~~~Jehovah Jireh 56-0224
