Who was God talking to when He said, “Let us create man in our own image after our own likeness”?

What's He doing? Writing His first Bible. Notice, the human beings once looked towards the heavens. And He puts all the stars in the heavens, the zodiac, starting off with the Virgin, ending up with Leo the Lion. First coming of Christ, the second coming. Came by the Virgin, come again as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. There He puts the first Bible.Oh, back in the days of--ancient days, they looked at those things. Today, He's got His Bible wrote here. But He wrote It in the heavens, that man would look up and realize that Jehovah the Creator lived above. And then I can see Him, He looked at that...
I can see Him speak to this world hanging there as an icicle, whatever it was, way away. And He moved it over here. I can see this little Light go out. Now, we got two now. The Father, and out of the Father came the Light, the Son. And I can see that Light moving over here and pulled the earth over near the sun to dry it off. And begin to...?... raise the water up, separating the land, earth from the water, and so forth.
Then He begin to create. And He made the fishes of the sea, the vegetable life. Put the cattles on the hill. It all looked good to Him.
Then He said, "Let us make man in Our own image, after Our likeness." Is that right? All right. So He made a man. God was Spirit; he had to be a spirit man made in His image. He put him here on the earth to lead the animal life and so forth, like the Holy Spirit should be leading the Church today. That was man. Attitude And Who Is God? P:18 [50-0815]

And when He made everything that looked nice and good to Him, now He said, "Let us (plural) make man (plural) in our own image." What was He? There is a supernatural Being. There's the One that could not be seen. God the Father never was seen, never will be seen. He's all nature. And there He is. And now, here's the Son, which is the Logos that went out of Him, made in His image, a supernatural Being that went out in the beginning."Let us make man in our own image." After He made a man in His own image, He made a supernatural being. Yes, indeed. Genesis 1:28, read and see if that isn't right. And then when He made man in His own image, he had rule over the beasts. He led the beasts around then like the Holy Spirit's supposed to lead the Church today. That's right. He led the Church around and...
And then He said, "There's no man to till the soil." So He created man out of the dust of the earth. Now, He might've give him a hand like a monkey and a foot like a bear. I don't know what He did, but He put him in five senses. And He put this supernatural being which was called man, the third Person of the Trinity, Holy Spirit, into mankind ( That's exactly right.), that man and He made him in His own image.
Show Us The Father It'll Satisfy P:65 [53-0610]

He got all those things together, and made...?... made all the other things, all the animal life, the birds, the bees, the monkeys, and whatever it was, put them all here on earth. And then He asked this question now. "Let us (Who? Father and Son) make man in Our own image."Now, if a man was made something like that little sacred Light yonder, or something like that, It could not be seen (which is a spiritual Being). He manifested or unfolded Himself a little more to make a trinity of Himself by Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And here was God, unfolded Himself now, down into "let us make man (which was His son, an offspring from Him) man in Our own image (He was a supernatural being.), and let him have dominion over the cattles of the field, and so forth."
Now, the man led the man--led the--the cattle and everything, just like the Holy Spirit leads a real true believer today. The Voice of God out there... The voice of man, rather, would speak and say... call the cattle this way, call the sheep over to this pasture, call the fishes to this water. See, he had dominion; everything obeyed him.
QA On Genesis COD P:18 [53-0729]

Now, if God created man in His Own image and in His Own likeness, what kind of a man did He create? A spirit man. Now, if you'll notice, after He had made all the creation and created a spirit man (the close reading of this now, to the one that asked the question will find this), that God give dominion of the cattle and the fishes and everything to the man. But in His making up there, He made man in His Own image to lead the cattle, lead the beasts of the field, just like the Holy Spirit leads the believer today. See?He was, in other words, Adam, the first man in the lower creations of God... The first creation was God Himself; then out of God came the Logos, which was the Son of God; then out of the Logos, which was the Word ("In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."), out of the Logos came forth the--the man. QA On Genesis COD P:10 [53-0729]

And now, the Logos that went out of God, which was the--the Logos, all this begin to form into a--a body shape. And this body shape was called in the scholar's teaching, "Logos," the Logos that went out of God. In other words, a--a better word for it was a--what we call a theophany. Theophany is a human body that's glorified, not exactly with flesh and blood like it will be in it's glorified stage, but it is of a form of a human body that doesn't eat, neither does it drink, but it's--it's a body, a body that's waiting for us as soon as we leave this one. Now, in there, we enter into that body. And that's the kind of body that God was. For He said, "Let Us make man in Our own image and in our likeness."Hebrews Chapter 2 Part 3 P:25 [57-0828]

And then after He got all His creation made, He said, "Let Us," plural, "make man in Our," plural, "own image." Now, if God is unseen, if the Logos was in the form, just mythically speaking, drama, in the form of a Halo, then It's supernatural. Then He had to make a man in His own image. John 4 says that God is a Spirit. And He had to make a spirit man. And He brought it down now; there's deity cannot be seen. Deity is the supernatural. Then He brings It down from a sacred Halo to a little white cloud, something that's more visible; that's man. He give him the rulership over the Kingdom. And he governed the beasts like the Holy Spirit leads the church today. But there was no man to till the soil. Then He put man in the image of man on earth, created him out of the dust of the earth.

And there's where science gets mixed up. They say, "No." He might give him a hand like a monkey. He might give him a face like a chimpanzee. He might give him a foot like a bear. But God put a soul in a man. This white cloud, Deity, came down, not in the animal, in the man. And now, if they want to go back and dig up some old bones, let them dig up as many as they want to; all the fossils, that doesn't have a thing to do on the bearing of the Word of God. There He is.
Then here's this man. And now the man sinned. And when he sinned and fell, then that little cloud in there became marred and black. Then the Logos came down and was made flesh and dwelt among us to redeem this man back to the love of the Father. And He came in by the baptism of the Holy Spirit and chased sin out of the human and brings man again back again in fellowship with God. You believe that? Resurrection Of Lazarus P:34 [51-0729A]

THE FOLLOWING IS AN EXCERPT FROM AN ARTICLE WRITTEN BY BRO. RON MILLEVO ABOUT GODHEAD (Read the whole article HERE)

GOD’S THOUGHTS EXPRESSED INTO “WORD” (LOGOS)
God, then began to express Himself from eternity, by His spoken Word. Time began when God started speaking. This great Fountain of Spirit which had no beginning or no end, began to express His attributes by the Spoken Word. Out of the existence of the Father went out the “Logos”, which was the Word, which was God’s “Theophany”. It was was a visible body of the great Jehovah God going forth in the beginning. It was called the “Logos”, which in the original Greek, means “something spoken; which includes the thoughts of the Speaker”.

That Logos was God’s “express image”. It was God Himself made into Word. That Logos that went out from the great eternal Spirit was called the “Son” of God.

It was the only visible form that this Spirit had. And It was a “theophany”, which means a celestial body, and that body was like a “man”.

Time, then, began when that “Logos” came out of God, as evident in the succeeding scripture. John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made” ..And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.” (John 1:1-3,14). From that “theophany” is where man was also created by God, after His own image, which was a “spirit-man”:
“And God said, Let US make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”(Genesis 1:26,27).

The “Let US make man in OUR own image” in the above verses refer to God the Father (the great Spirit) talking, speaking to His Theophany Body, which was His begotten Son.
We can see here that man was created from that pattern, with both spirit and body realms. We were never created in the image of angels.

Rev. Branham taught us this: “You will never be an Angel. God made Angels, but God made man. And what God does is off of God, which is as eternal as God is. And man’s just as eternal as his Creator, because he was made from eternity. (HEBREWS CHAPTER 5 AND 6, JEFF, IN 57-0908M).
“Brother, I’m telling you; I believe in the resurrection. God will speak one of these days, and we’ll come forth in His image and in His likeness, men and women, not angels, but men and women. God made Angels; we’ll never be Angels. We wasn’t made for Angels. Men are made men. God made man. He intends him to be man. It’s God’s pattern.” (EL.SHADDAI.title LA.CA 59-0416).

The “theophany”, which was the Son, is also what’s spoken of in Colossians 1:15-17, which reads: “Who is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and He is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

That theophany of God was then made FLESH on earth later on in the Person of Jesus Christ through the womb of Mary.

In the following paragraphs, Brother Branham relates to us about the mystery of the Godhead in the Message LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE - CPT.9, 336-2:
“Revelation 3:14 speaks of Jesus as the “Beginning of the Creation of God”. That is Who the Lord Jesus says He is. But those words don’t mean exactly as they sound to us. Just taking them the way they sound has made some people (in fact multitudes of people) get the idea that Jesus was the first creation of God, making Him lower than Godhead. Then this first creation created all the rest of the universe and whatsoever it contains. But that is NOT right. You know that doesn’t line up with the rest of the Bible. The words are, “He is the BEGINNER or AUTHOR of the creation of God.”

Now we know for a surety that Jesus is God, very God. He is the Creator. John 1:3 “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made.” He is the One of Whom it is said, Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. Also it says in Exodus 20:11, “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day.” See, there is no doubt that He is the Creator. He was the Creator of a FINISHED PHYSICAL CREATION. Surely we can see what these words mean now. To have any other interpretation would mean that God created God. How could God be created when He, Himself, is the Creator?” (WMB, 336-4 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.9)
